Who We Are

The HEDC is a private/public partnership dedicated to promoting economic vitality throughout the Harvard community. It is a 501(c)3 organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors and funded through private donations and funds from the City of Harvard.

Harvard will be a vibrant community with a diverse economy where residents have competitive employment opportunities close to home, access to a full range of local shopping opportunities and enjoy a high quality of life.

Become a Member

Membership in the HEDC demonstrates leadership and a commitment to ensuring the best possible future for the Harvard community. Members have preferred access to HEDC-sponsored resources and events, and  opportunities to network with other business and community leaders. You will receive updates on local development and issues, and breaking news on the Harvard-Woodstock Enterprise Zone and new Opportunity Zone initiative.

Members are also eligible to list commercial/industrial property in the HEDC’s online Land & Sites database and developer e-newsletter. Properties must be owned or represented by the member, located within or adjacent to the Harvard city limits and be ready or suitable for commercial or industrial (including retail) development.
